In this talk, I will show you how you can relax and rely on your handy-dandy smartphone to let you know when these events happen along with video snippets of what happened and who showed up!
Rupa Dachere
Rupa Dachere is the Founder and President of CodeChix.org, a CA non-profit organization with chapters across USA. She is also a Member of Technical Staff at VMware working on vSphere. She has been a software developer and tinkerer for two decades and loves to learn new technologies and build new skills. This is her first hardware project and she would like to show that you CAN build your own gadgets and solve your daily needs using Python without having to spend a whole bunch of money on a commercial product which might not give you all the features you need. She is a homeowner and uses this gadget everyday at home to see who’s at her front door.
